California coast engagement

Let me just say:

I LOVE California, and I LOVE these two.

I met Seth + Saba at a pop up dinner Seth was hosting (he’s a chef) and Saba and I instantly connected, exchanging our phone numbers on a scratch piece of paper (why we did this when we had iphones I’ll never know ha). A beautiful friendship blossomed from there, and Saba’s passion for a good story (she’s a journalist) met my passion for photography and we would work on projects together. She’d find the story, I’d tag along and document it with her. She’s truly a soul sister, and our hearts just speak the same language. They have since moved to California, and while I miss them dearly, our friendship spans over time and distance and I’m so thankful for that.

With plans to get married in 2022, I flew out to California to document their sweet love + engagement, and a little bit of their new restaurant Joon Market, where yes, Seth is the head chef and Saba right at his side managing the marketing and behind the scenes. Basically they are a power duo, and I truly feel so blessed to call them my babes.

For their engagement shoot we headed to the coast, cutting through the redwoods, stopping at The Point Reyes Shipwreck, enjoying seafood for lunch and eventually making our way to Point Reyes and catching the last of that stunning fall California coast light. This was the best day. I love you two. Thank you for having me out, and next time, I wont get car sick!
