Chiang Mai

Ohhh Chiang Mai. This city was stop #3 on our trip and it has a special place in my heart. Each city we visited was beautiful and different in its own right. But Chiang Mai was reallly cool. Its very diverse, with different neighborhoods, and a very distinct personality. We explored the night bazaar where stalls with vendors are selling everything you can think of and ended the evening at Boy Blues Bar, a live music venue that hosts amazing blues musicians. (we felt like we were back in Austin listening to Stevie.) We took a cooking class and learned all about the Thai cuisine, visited the Long Neck Tribe, took a tea tour, and spent the day at an Ethical Elephant Sanctuary.

Chiang Mai was the ultimate cultural experience.
